Phinfo: Pathogen-Host Interaction Information

Phinfo is a MySQL-based module that stores pathogen and pathogen-host interaction information curated from biomedical literature or other curated data sources. A powerful search engine is also developed here. Boolean mode is supported, and the default mode is AND. A query of "brucella OR anthracis" searches records contains "brucella" or "anthracis".

Note: For advanced topic search, click here.

Statisitcs: The Phinfo module stores 36 pathogens, including 2894 references (1384 journals,136 books,1370 websites and 4 theses).

Provenance: The data in Phinfo were originally extracted from existing databases including the VBI PathInfo project via its web service, the HazARD project done in the University of Michigan, or manually curated from peer-reviewed literature by the PHIDIAS curation team. The visualization program was developed by the PHIDIAS development team.
