Pathovex is developed by first using the Brucella bacterial pathogen as a model. Dr. Oliver He, the PI of the project, is a domain expert of Brucella pathogenesis and host immunity against brucellosis.
3. What is the coverage of Pathovex?
Pathovex covers the gene expression profiles in the host cells infected with virulent pathogens or treated with vaccine, or the microbial-side gene expression profiles in live pathogen or live attenuated vaccine strains.
